On Thursday March 27th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Plaza Restaurant meeting room, the Dewline Squadron of the West Texas Wing of the Commemorative Air Force (formerly known as the Confederate Air Force) will hold it's monthly membership meeting and dinner. The dinner is Dutch order from the menu banquet style. There will be a brief business meeting and the program this month is CAF air show videos. For those who would like to find out what a 9,000 members, 160 military aircraft preservation organization is all about you are welcome to attend. If you have an interest in aviation or in joining the CAF as a member or sponsor, someone will be there to explain that too. The Squadron's main annual all day event, a Fly In, will be held this year on June 21st at Tradewind Airport; join up and be a part of that event. The Plaza Restaurant is located at 3415 Bell just south of 34th in the southeast corner of the shopping center.

On Saturday April 5th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tradewind Airport the Dewline Squadron of the West Texas Wing of the Commemorative Air Force (formerly known as the Confederate Air Force) will host an Open Hangar. This is for those who would like to find what a 9,000 members, 160 military aircraft preservation organization is all about. There are no activities planned. Come out look at the planes and talk to the pilots and crews. There is no charge. If you have an interest in aviation or in joining the CAF as a member or sponsor, someone will be there to explain that too. The Squadron's main annual all day event, a Fly In, will be held this year on June 21st at Tradewind Airport; join up this weekend and be a part of that event. The CAF hangar is the one due south of the flight school and airport terminal building. Please park in the main parking lot and walk to the CAF hangar; only aircraft owners are permitted to drive onto the aircraft ramp area. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times while on the airport grounds. In the event of rain the Open Hangar event will be hosted on April 19th. Come visit us.
